Correct, I first extracted 1.11 into its own folder, then I extracted both the DLC files to a different folder, then I began to port those DLC files to the 1.11 base game folder and overwrite things except load.vis which was 0 bytes, I ignored it, and the .vis file that was around 12 mbs compared to the one that comes with the base game being 600 mb+, I guess I'll find out in the game if the content got unlocked or not, I haven't played the base game on its own, I just want to have the "Full" experience from the beginning including the DLC :)
If I had the load.vis and cockwork industries.vis from the DLC folder overwrite the base game's .vis with the same name, the game would launch and after the author intro it would be stuck on the author title, and all I can do is move the game's cursor around
With the load.vis being 0 bytes for me, whilst extract contents I got an error from the DLC rar files at least the second part said "Data error" and I tried this on a different computer too. Same error.
No, this is a standalone version that does not activate on Steam. If you already own the Steam version, there's no need to buy the DLC Pack as the "Complete" edition from Steam already has DLC content included.
Please make sure you copy the game files in correct order so that the DLC content gets unlocked.
First extract files from "Cockwork Industries.zip" (base game).
Then extract files from "Cockwork Industries DLC Pack v4.01.zip" and "Cockwork Industries DLC Pack v4.01.z01" (these are two parts of the same zip archive) and copy them to the same folder as the base game. Make sure to overwrite all files when prompted.

Hey, any chance to see Rita, Kyoko or Andrea in an other game this year, or the next?
DLC doesn't work. Followed instructions. It's just stuck of the starting screen saying publishers name. If I launch the game without DLC, it launches.

I just downloaded the base game and DLC from Itch to verify and everything is working as intended when you follow the installation instructions.
Can you confirm these are the files you were able to download (should be 3 game files in total)?

The DLC Pack has now been updated to the latest version and contains all dialogue skins so far :-)
